If you want to watched a rabbit movie that is a little more light-hearted then how about Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Harvey (1950) or Watership Down (1978)?  If you loved Who Framed Roger Rabbit and especially his beautiful and seductive wife, Jessica rabbit, there’s a sultry Silver Screen Sinsation costume that will bring glamour and grace to any Halloween party.

One of the most famous fictional rabbits of all time is Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit. He appeared in The Tale of Peter Rabbit in 1902 and then in five further books between 1904 and 1912. Peter wears human clothing with a blue jacket and a pair of brown shoes. He has a large family with sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail. He also has a cousin called Benjamin Bunny.

Beatrix Potter published 23 books and with the proceeds she bought Hill Top Farm in the Lake District of England. After her death in 1943 she left most of her property to the National Trust. Her legacy still carries on with her books continuing to sell worldwide and her stories having been made into ballets, movies and animation. In a recent movie, Miss Potter (2006) Renee Zellweger gave a great performance as Beatrix Potter.
